Health Care Reform or Government Power Grab?

Now that our government has adopted their new health care reform legislation it is now time for us to brace for what is coming. I have devoted a great deal of time watching and listening to both sides of this issue during the past month. I also spent a great deal of time reading over the posted bill(s) which I found to be very confusing and hard to understand.

What I brought away from all of this is quite simply the feeling that our government is (a) completely out of touch with the citizens of this country, (b) our elected officials continue to act in their best interest, not in the best interest of the citizens of this conutry and (c) that it is very obvious that this administration is doing everything it can to change us into a model of Europe (socialism).

I am not a Republican or Democrat, I am an American citizen who feel betrayed by his government. An overwhelming majority of us made it very clear that although we feel that the way healthcare is paid for needs to be reformed and that there should be more competition for us to choose from, we never supported what just took place.

I can only hope that the American citizens awaken and understand what this is truly about and take the necessary measures at the pole to stop the insanity.
